01Acceptance

By downloading or using Ariko, you agree to these Terms. Ariko is intended for use by children under the supervision of a parent or guardian. If the user is under 13, a parent or guardian must accept these Terms on the child's behalf and supervise their use.

02Description of Service

Ariko is an AI-powered educational app for K–6 students. It provides personalized practice questions, homework scanning, a guided learning path, and progress tracking across core subjects — Math, English Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, and ESOL.

03Free Trial

New users receive 15 days of full access to Ariko Pro at no cost and with no payment method required. No charge is made during the trial. When the 15-day trial ends, the app continues on a free tier with daily practice limits; to keep unlimited access you may subscribe to Ariko Pro.

04Subscriptions & Billing

Ariko Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription:

Payment. Subscriptions are purchased and processed entirely through your Apple ID and the Apple App Store. We never receive or store your payment details.

Auto-renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period and your Apple ID is charged for the renewal, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Managing your subscription. You can manage or cancel at any time in your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro access until the end of the period you already paid for.

Refunds. Unused portions of a billing period are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or Apple's refund policies. Refund requests are handled by Apple.

05Free Tier Limits

After the trial, the free tier includes a limited number of practice questions per day and a limited number of homework scans per week. These limits may change over time. Ariko Pro removes the daily and weekly limits.

06Accounts & Profiles

You are responsible for the device and Apple ID used with Ariko. The free tier supports one learner profile; Ariko Pro supports up to three learner profiles within a single household. Do not share your subscription outside your household.

07Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to bypass content filters or use the homework-scan feature to generate inappropriate content.
• Reverse-engineer, copy, or resell any part of Ariko.
• Use Ariko for any purpose other than personal, non-commercial education.

08Content & AI

Ariko uses AI to generate practice questions and to interpret homework photos. AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors. Do not rely on the app as the sole source of academic instruction. Always verify important information with a teacher or qualified professional.

09Intellectual Property

All software, content, branding, and design of Ariko are owned by Matteria Technologies LLC and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Ariko for personal, non-commercial purposes.

10Disclaimer of Warranties

Ariko is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free content, or that the app will meet your specific educational requirements.

11Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Matteria Technologies LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Ariko.

12Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.

13Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will indicate material changes by updating the effective date above. Continued use of Ariko after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
